Quest Software Releases Products to Improve SQL Server 2005 Management Capabilities

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

[From Quest Software]

Quest Software, Inc. announces the release of a new product, Change Director for SQL Server, as well as the addition of powerful new features to both Performance Analysis for SQL Server 6.0 and Toad for SQL Server 3.0. Both moves demonstrate the company’s ongoing support for Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server 2005.

Quest’s newest offering, Change Director for SQL Server, allows DBAs to more easily script and migrate database schema changes while tracking the impact of those changes on the database. In addition, DBA’s will gain greater control of their databases by proactively monitoring the structure of the database and rolling back changes as needed, thereby reducing the risk of unexpected outages caused by unplanned or improper changes.
