Sybase Announces Free Database Development Tool for ASE and SQL Anywhere Customers

DUBLIN, CALIF. — January 22, 2008 — Sybase today announced that its Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) and SQL Anywhere customers now have free use, through 2008, of the Sybase WorkSpace Database Development tool, which is specifically tailored for the ASE and SQL Anywhere platforms. WorkSpace Database Development simplifies and unifies the complete development life cycle for database applications--development, debugging, testing and deployment. A graphical Eclipse-based tool, Sybase WorkSpace Database Development enables visual SQL building, query analysis, and sophisticated editing and debugging.
