Ingres Executives Peer into the Future of Open Source at Open World Forum 2009

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. And PARIS - September 22, 2009 - Ingres Corporation, an open source database management company and pioneer of the New Economics of IT, announced today that Roger Burkhardt, CEO of Ingres, will share a vision for the future of open source at the second annual Open World Forum scheduled for Oct. 1 – 2, 2009 at the Eurosites Georges V convention center in Paris. Burkhardt, and Eric Soares, vice president, sales, Southern Europe, Ingres, will examine where open source is headed and the ever increasing importance of developing strategies for implementing more innovative, alternative technologies to help companies cut costs.
