NULL in the Data Warehouse

The arguments for and against NULL in the data warehouse are complicated. The goal of the data warehouse is to represent a single version of the truth for the enterprise. This article looks at a number of situations when use of NULL might be appropriate, and situations where the use of NULL could cause end user confusion.
