Oracle unveiling Sun technology powered database

Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle, is going to make an announcement tomorrow afternoon about the OLTP Database Machine which incorporates Sun’s FlashFire technology.

The webcast with Ellison is designed to show “how the partnership between Oracle and Sun can benefit customers” according to the blurb sent out to entice users to listen to tomorrow’s event.
