Interest in cloud computing is on the rise, and SQL Server administrators and developers have more than their share of questions about the implications of cloud databases.

We spoke with Brent Ozar, a SQL Server expert with Quest Software, about the potential promise and pitfalls of cloud computing and how enhancements to Microsoft's SQL Azure Database could change the way people view databases in the cloud. Ozar is scheduled to present a session entitled Yes, I'm Actually Using the Cloud at PASS Summit 2009 in November.
