sp_createdatabase.SQL

This stored procedure can be used to create a huge database spread across one or more data and log devices. It uses the next available device number and creates database devices based on the @DbName. It accepts the following parameters:

@DbName = Name of the database you want to create. This name will be used to create a directory on the target drive. @DbSizeInMb = Size of the database you want to create. @DataDeviceSizeInMb = Size of the data device. @DataDeviceFragments = Number of data device that you want to create. @LogDeviceSizeInMb = Size of log device. @LogDeviceFragments = Number of log device that you want to create. @TargetDrive = Default is D drive. This is the target drive where you want to create your physical devices.
