Schedule What to Read
Sometimes the hardest part of actually reading is finding
what to read. Here are a few of my favorite places on the web. As you build
your list of favorite sites, keep in mind that the longer the list, the more
time it will take to look everywhere. I would suggest that you find a few good
sources and stick to them. By all means, keep looking for better websites that
give more information or better presentation.
Portals
Portals and news centric publications are a great place to
go everyday to see if there is anything new. Usually there is and you will
find out about trends before you colleagues.

Staying current on the technology you need to do your job to
the fullest is not an easy task. We are bombarded daily with problems that need
to be solved immediately. Take some time and consider the method you have for
keeping current and up-to-date in your field. I would venture to say that if
you are stuck to the printed word, you are missing out on a world that is rich
in information and easy to manage.
