Continuent’s tungsten Data Replication Engine, version 2.0, is now available as open source. Released under a GPL V2 license, tungsten’s replicator allows the solving of problems such as promoting masters from pools of slaves, replicating data between different database versions, replicating across sites, building complex topologies, and parallelizing data between servers.
