When made available through an early access program, SQL Source Control was tried and praised by many developers, and now this tool that allows developers to source control a database from within SQL Server Management Studio has been released by Red Gate. SQL Source Control keeps detailed track of changes and reduces change-management overhead as well as increasing quality and teamwork in database development with source control by connecting the database to either Team Foundation Server or Subversion. SQL Source Control also works as a part of Red Gate’s SQL Developer Bundle.
