Edward Screven, Oracle chief corporate architect, will give the opening keynote on Tuesday, April 13 at 8:30 a.m. PDT at The O’Reilly MySQL Conference & Expo 2010 — discussing the strategy for MySQL. His presentation is entitled “State of the Dolphin” and is to cover Oracle’s investment in the MySQL product as well as their involvement in the user community. Additionally, Oracle has just recently announced that the MySQL Customer Advisory Board meetings, taking place on May 6, 2010, will serve as a forum for MySQL customers to learn what new enhancements the MySQL database will have.
