New Survey Shows Most DBAs (72%) Manage Multiple Database Platforms

In a new survey conducted by Embarcadero, 72% of DBAs manage at least two different database environments with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle at the top of the list, 62% and 60% respectively. The survey also noted that most DBAs also face having to manage multiple versions of these environments, 69% managing more than one version of the same database and 51% managing more than two versions.
