Oracle Database 11g Supports Oracle Fusion Middleware to Deliver World Record Single-Node Result

The Oracle WebLogic Server, component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, along with Oracle Database 11g running Oracle Enterprise Linux and Dell PowerEdge R910 Server, holds a few world records. Achieved was the single-node SPECjAppServer2004 industry standard benchmark(1), multi-node(2), and dual-node(3) along with delivering the highest performance per core(4) of any result ever published.

Juan Loaiza, senior vice president of systems technology for Oracle, said “Oracle Fusion Middleware, with Oracle WebLogic Server, leads the industry in record-setting Java application server benchmark results. These results showcase the performance and versatility of Oracle Fusion Middleware for enterprise Java applications.”
