Oracle Database Encryption Key in Hardware Security Modules

Now available is version 7.0 of RDC Software’s Encryption Wizard for Oracle, a transparent data encryption suite for the Oracle RDBMS, and which now includes the option to store master keys on Hardware Security Modules (HSM). The Encryption Wizard generates, stores, and retrieves master keys from an HSM card which are then used to generate column level keys within the Oracle database. All encrypted data depends on the HSM master key, greatly reducing the risk of traditional data theft. RDC’s Encryption Wizard for Oracle meets compliance standards requiring remote key storage, besides providing a tested and cost effective data encryption solution.
