Oracle has just announced Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, the world’s first integrated middleware machine which has been designed to provide extreme performance while handling large-scale, mission-critical deployments, and reduce risk while meeting the highest service-level requirements. Among its other beneficial offerings, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud is optimized for integration with Oracle Database 11g, Oracle Real Application Clusters, and the Oracle Exadata Database Machine, as well as enabling instantaneous JDBC connection failover and transaction affinity between Oracle WebLogic Server running on Exalogic and Oracle Real Application Clusters running on an Oracle Exadata Database Machine with its GridLink for Exadata.
