Still on the Oracle website, Ken Jacobs is/was:

Jacobs has long been a prominent spokesperson for Oracle, and an advocate inside the company for customers’ interests.” |
So it would make one wonder why Jacobs has decided to leave Oracle when MySQL and the open source community might need him most. Reported by CNET, Jacobs made mention to the fact his resignation was sparked by him not being able to head up “all things Open Source at Oracle” and take the proverbial MySQL reins.
