Oracle’s quarterly patch release fixes 43 Oracle security vulnerabilities as well as 23 Sun software fixes. For the Oracle database server this update contains 7 security fixes that includes 5 for the database server where one vulnerability could be exploitable without authentication over a network connection, 1 fix for Oracle Secure Backup, also remote authentication vulnerability, and 1 fix for Oracle Audit Vault, again remotely exploitable without authentication.
