Paradigma Software releases Valentina 4.8, a cross platform columnar database system; adding support for SQLite that allows users to administer, query, and run reports with the SQLite database engine. “Valentina technology is about fast, business enhancing results; SQLite support is our first non-native database, which means more developers can use our powerful design diagramming, visual sql builder, analysis and reporting tools without committing to the Valentina DB data store,” said Lynn Fredricks, president of Paradigma Software. Also available with Valentina Studio is the easy conversion from SQLite to native Valentina DB format as well as a preview version for Linux and iValentina for iOS with versions for iPhone and iPad.
