Rsam and Application Security, Inc. Partner to Provide a View for Database Vulnerabilities in the Context of Risk and Compliance; integrating Rsam’s GRC solution with AppSec’s DbProtect. The integration will allow customers to secure their most sensitive data as they manage a security program in the context of GRC for reporting, workflow, and remediation.

“We are excited to partner with AppSec whose focus on database security is a great complement to Rsam’s robust GRC offering. Both applications and databases are key assets that need to be assessed and checked for compliance against policies and standards. Integrating database vulnerabilities from AppSec with Rsam’s risk, control and compliance data paints a much broader and clearer picture of the security risk and compliance posture within an organization,” said Vivek Shivananda, Rsam CEO. “The ability to seamlessly import DbProtect’s scan data into Rsam will enable security professionals to manage their database protection program in the context of GRC while centrally managing and prioritizing their Issues and related remediation activities.”
