SAP Extends Acquisition Offer for Sybase

Through their wholly-owned subsidiary, Sheffield Acquisition Corp., SAP has extended their offer to acquire Sybase, Inc. for a price of $65 per share until 9pm ET on July 26,2010. This particular offer was to expire on Julty 16, 2010 but is being extended because of certain conditions to the tender offer have yet to be satisfied, part of which is approval of the EU.
