Enhancements to Syncsort MFX for z/OS 1.4 sort utility will extend Syncsort’s mainframe sort technology leadership; delivering performance, efficiencies, and cost savings. MFX for z/OS addresses the challenge of replacing the default mainframe sort utility for production jobs by delivering on an emerging market trend called mainframe sort acceleration, the replacing of a subset of sort jobs with a higher performance sort utility. MFX for z/OS plugs directly into existing environments to improve performance while protecting an organization’s infrastructure.
