Virident Improves MySQL Performance with SSDs

Virident has announced that the use of SSDs within an MySQL environment can help solve database scalability and performance challenges. The Virident tach|On features a two-tiered controller architecture that provides sustained performance that is hundreds of times faster than traditional hard disk drives and also faster than other SSDs on the market; setting a new standard for scalability and performance as database workloads increase.
