IBM’s new offering, Cognos Express Planner, joins the Cognos Express line of business intelligence (BI) and analytics software. The package, specifically designed to meet the needs of mid-sized companies can be used standalone or in combination with other Cognos Express modules.
Express Planner features a simplified web-based user interface and has role-based security in order to block access to unauthorized individuals. Planner also includes “advanced” filtering options such as hierarchy leveling, attribute values, element names, and spelling patterns.
