By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

MCPCentral.com has announced the new release of OnTime, a free* (see below) multi-user Defect Tracking (bug tracking) and Feature Management tool.

Built on C#.NET and SQL Server 2000, OnTime v1.1 is designed for small development and test teams to collaborate on the reporting and tracking of defects and features. The new version has added enhanced security, e-mail support, default settings and much more, while remaining simple to use and easy to learn

OnTime requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (or MSDE 2000) and the Microsoft .NET Framework Runtime. The 10-user version, regularly $295, is available free of charge through 11/30/2002, with reduced introductory prices also available for increased user licenses.

Additional information is available on the MCPcentral.com Web site, with the download directly available from http://www.mcpcentral.com/downloads.htm.
