IBM announces enhancements to DB2 Content Manager

SOMERS, N.Y. - Hoping to capitalize on increased IT demand for content management technology, IBM Corp. on Tuesday announced enhancements to its DB2 Content Manager software, as well new partnerships with other content management vendors.

DB2 Content Manager Version 8.2 features tighter integration with IBM's major infrastructure software, including the Tivoli systems management, Lotus messaging, WebSphere application server and DB2 Universal Database platforms. It also includes "out-of-box" integration with CRM applications from Siebel Systems Inc. and PeopleSoft Inc., according to IBM.
