Quest Software Introduces Toad for SQL Server; Broadens Set of Solutions to Improve the Performance and Productivity of SQL Server Databases

DALLAS, September 29, 2005 - At the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) Community Summit, Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) today announced version 1.0 of Toad® for SQL Server, an easy-to-use development environment that increases the productivity of database developers and administrators.

Building on the success of Toad for Oracle, Toad for SQL Server is designed to address the needs of both database developers and DBAs in the SQL Server community. Database professionals can quickly create and execute queries, automate database object management and develop highly optimized SQL code more efficiently. Administration capabilities allow users to manage large projects, integrate with version control software, manage users and database security, and import/export data.
