Quest Software Announces Enhanced Toad for IBM DB2 Freeware

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., October 3, 2006 – Quest Software, Inc. today announced the release of an expanded freeware version of Toad for IBM DB2 and a new program with IBM to offer the freeware as part of a bundled offering. The DB2 “Developer in a Box” freeware offering also includes the IBM DB2 Express-C database. This freeware edition of Toad’s award-winning family of products that has more than 500,000 users worldwide is the latest step in Quest’s continuing strategy to raise the standard of tools that are available at no charge to the database management community.
