SYBASE TECHWAVE USER CONFERENCE, ORLANDO, Fla. and PALO ALTO, Calif., - August 5, 2003 - Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), a leading enterprise infrastructure and integration company, and TIBCO Software Inc. (Nasdaq: TIBX), a leading enabler of real-time business, today announced an agreement to deliver Sybase Real-time Services, the first easy to use real-time information delivery solution built on open standards. Sybase Real-time Services will proactively push relevant information from a database, giving business decision makers the opportunity to quickly combat threats, capitalize on opportunities, and make better-informed decisions.

Sybase Real-time Services will leverage the database as an intelligent component in the enterprise, enabling it to deliver information in real-time when changes occur in the data itself.
