Better Business Intelligence in SQL Server 2012

In addition to Big Data, Microsoft introduced components for integration, analysis and better reporting in SQL Server 12.

Along with new features that provide greater availability and improved query response, Microsoft claims SQL 2012 query execution is up to 100 times faster than previous versions. SQL Server 2012 also facilitates cloud deployments. The new system does a better job of visually representing data, and it incorporates Apache Hadoop.

By upgrading to the latest versions of SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint or both, organizations gain all Microsoft business intelligence tools, including PowerPivot, PowerViewer and others, at no additional cost.
