Becoming available July 30th are Isilon’s two data management software applications called SmartPools and InsightIQ. SmartPools creates a single file system by unifying multiple storage tiers, simplifying data management, eliminating manual data migration, and helping reduce cost; while InsightIQ enables easy identification and elimination of performance bottlenecks, increasing efficiency, and reducing storage requirements.
