FlexStore Analytics Platform Fuses Traditional and Flash-Based Memory to Improve Database Performance

Now available from Vertica Systems is FlexStore for Flash which uses Fusion-io’s flash-based memory tier to store the most frequently accessed data in a database to significantly improve performance. “FlexStore enables Vertica customers to deploy a hybrid of solid-state and traditional disk on industry-standard servers for the highest performing analytics platform on the market – at a fraction of the cost,” said Colin Mahony, vice president of products and business development, Vertica.
