IBM DB2 Version 8.1 Certified on SCO Linux 4.0

The SCO Group (SCO) has announced that SCO Linux 4.0 has been certified with the latest edition of IBM DB2, Version 8.1. This certification allows companies using SCO Linux to simplify and automate many of the tasks associated with maintaining their database systems.

SCO Linux 4.0 is a Linux operating system designed for mission-critical business applications and provides customers with the base UnitedLinux operating system that customers need to successfully run Linux in business environments.

IBM DB2 Version 8.1 is a self-managing and self-tuning relational database management system, strong enough to meet the demands of large corporations and flexible enough to serve medium-sized and small businesses. IBM DB2 provides database technology leadership, easing the complexity and cost of managing e-business applications, and laying the foundation for integrating information across the enterprise.
