Ingres President/CEO Roger Burkhardt has gone on record that they hope to move Ingres’s VectorWise database performance technology to beta in March. Burkhardt has said that VectorWise has achieved a 10-100X improvement in performance for workloads. The technology has in alpha for the last month and is scheduled for Q2 general availability.
