Having found great success with SQLServerPedia, its free, community driven SQL Server online resource, Quest Software has now expanded to also cover Oracle and cloud databases. Called OraDBPedia and CloudDBPedia, both will contain helpful videos, podcasts, blogs, and community-run wikis. Each of these sites will have an expert in their particular domain as editor-in-chief with Jeff Smith for OraDBPedia and Guy Harrison for CloudDBPedia. SQLServerPedia will also have a new editor-in-chief as Brent Ozar hands it over to Iain Kick.

Quest also plans “to continue expanding its online community initiatives beyond SQL Server, Oracle and cloud databases to serve the needs of database professionals tasked with managing multiple platforms, or who are eager to learn about emerging database technology like Hadoop and NoSQL.”
