Oracle Introduces The Oracle Cloud File System

Oracle has introduced the Oracle Cloud File System; making it easier for deployment of databases and applications in the cloud. The Oracle Cloud File System will help organizations extend and more effectively use storage pooling through network accessible elastic cloud storage. Cost is based on a per processor but is free for Oracle software binaries, metadata, and diagnostic files, with certain conditions and restrictions.
