Quest Software gains leadership in data protection with acquisition of BakBone; enabling them to provide a solution that includes virtual, physical, and application protection. This acquisition allows Quest to offer data protection across heterogeneous environments that is appropriate for small to large enterprises that will help lower the total cost of ownership and obtain world-class customer support from Quest. BackBone’s four products will be rebranded as Quest netVault and be available as a suite or individual solutions.
