Planned for release by May 2010 is Microsoft’s SQL Server 2008 R2 Update for Developers Training Kit, which has been available in the Community Technology Preview testing stage. This SQL Server 2008 Training Kit is designed to help developers take advantage of new improvements, but also for developers new to SQL Server. Some of the things this Training Kit includes are:

  • Fifteen presentations covering topics ranging from a SQL Server 2008 R2 Update overview to deploying and maintaining SQL Server StreamInsight
  • Twenty-four demos covering Filestream, T-SQL, and more
  • As well as hands-on labs, and divers videos
