Migrate data from Hadoop or Pig to Vertica with speed and flexibility using the Vertica connector from Vertica Systems. Additionally, Vertica has announced plans to provide a backup option for Hadoop File System (HDFS) as well as publishing libraries so Hadoop can utilize Vertica’s advanced sorting, compression, and encoding.
