New Data Quality Components for SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

A set of new Data Quality Components for SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) have been made available from Melissa Data; helping to identify data quality issues, verify data, and correct data. All with the purpose of giving users integrate complex enterprise data that are in different formats, structures, and sources to deliver a single view of information assets.

"We've found that roughly 60 percent of databases contain outdated or flawed data, or contain at least one or more errors," explains Ira Whiteside, Melissa Data's business intelligence analyst. "Melissa Data solves this problem by offering software with an easy-to-use GUI that delivers 'any source, any target' capabilities without the need for complex programming -- all at a fraction of the cost of other enterprise data quality platforms."
