Black Duck Software has named VoltDB as leading open source database as well as one of the top 10 new open source projects for 2010. To note, VoltDB was the only database recognized by Black Duck in the open source leaders; evaluating open source projects by using a weighted scoring system that included commit activity, developers involved, and websites linked to project.
