Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler Now Supports Collaborative Development

The new release 3.0 of Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler is integrated with Subversion; enabling team development and supporting user-defined design rules for collaborative development. The new release is simple to install and is available for download from Oracle Technology Network (OTN). In addition, the new collaborative capabilities include the support of logical, relational, multi-dimensional, and data type modeling, integration with Subversion, flexibility for users to write rules based on standards or design specific criteria, user defined transformation script support, integration with Oracle SQL Developer, as well as enabling users to design and develop for a variety of databases that include Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
